Keith Farfone, Senior Broker
Keith Farfone, a fifteen year veteran with St. Barts Yachts is currently the Senior Broker for the company. A multi-year winner of Beneteau’s Top Gun Sales Award, Keith is an avid boater. If he is not in the office, Keith can always be found on or near the water with his two English Springer Spaniels by his side. While not a Charleston native, Keith and his family have had roots in the area since 1980 and after attending the College of Charleston, Keith made the Lowcountry his permanent home. With a continuous background in business and sales, Keith is well respected by his clients. Ron Stoddard, CPYB
Ron has been selling both power and sailboats for over 40 years as an owner principal, manager and CPYB (Certified Professional Yacht Broker). He was recently the recipient of the Beneteau “Top Gun” award for his dedication and hard work with the brand. Ron also has served on the Evinrude National Dealer Council, Crestliner National Dealer Council, Thompson President’s Council and seven years on the Board of Directors of the Michigan Boating Industry Association that, among other things, is responsible for the “Detroit Boat Show”. Peter Dodds, CPYB
Peter, a Charleston native, began work at Charleston Yacht Sales in 1970. Fresh out of college, and looking for what he thought would be a summer job, he instead found his life’s work. Peter took over the business in 1979 and has been at the brokerage ever since. Peter’s knowledge is based on experience, having traversed the East Coast and Caribbean in nearly every type of boat imaginable, both sail and power. During his 39 year tenure in yacht brokerage, he has experienced virtually every nuance one may encounter in the sale or purchase of a vessel. His knowledge of the market value of a vessel draws from the experience of having worked through many economic cycles. In 2002, after a comprehensive examination, Peter was one of the first 50 yacht brokers in the country to achieve the designation of Certified Professional Yacht Broker from the Yacht Brokers Association of America. Jeff Knoll

Jeff had the fortunate opportunity to grow up sail boat racing in Erie, Pennsylvania. He had been a long time member of the Erie Yacht Club. Jeff came to St. Barts Yachts in 2000 after the sale of his business in Erie to help deliver charter boats to the Caribbean from Charleston. After six months of almost non stop deliveries to many locations, with many adventures along the way, Jeff was offered a sales position with the Jacksonville, Florida office of St. Barts. Jeff has sold new Beneteau sail and power boats as well as many brokerage boats. In 2004 he married a great girl named Rosemarie, she had been crew aboard his race boat. Jeff has been a member of the Rudder Club of Jacksonville, where he kept his Tripp 26 “Scalded Dog”. Jeff is a member of the North Florida Cruising Club and sponsors and participates in many of the clubs racing and cruising events. Carey English, CPYB

California native Carey English has raced, cruised, equipped, and delivered boats from the Chesapeake Bay to Bermuda and the Caribbean. He’s one of just 550 yacht brokers in North America to have earned the designation of Certified Professional Yacht Broker (CPYB) administered by the Yacht Brokers Association of America. Besides his practical experience and broad product knowledge, Carey is licensed and bonded in Florida and is a member of the Florida Yacht Brokers Association. He takes pride in protecting the interests of both buyers and sellers and welcomes clients who value honest and accurate representation in the purchase and sale of their boats. Dave Wright
Dave Wright, born and raised in North Carolina, is an experienced sailor having purchased his first sailboat in 1975. He is American Sailing Association Certified and has served as Commodore of the Steele Creek Yacht Club, Treasurer, President and Board Member of the Pecan Grove Yacht Owners Association and Race Committee Chairman of the Oriental Cup Regatta and is a current member of the Sailing Club of Oriental (SCOO) and the Neuse Sailing Association (NSA). Dave has sailed and cruised the East Coast, Chesapeake Bay, San Francisco Bay and the British Virgin Islands, and has experience in sailboats to 51 feet and power boats to 40 feet. He moved from Raleigh, NC with his wife Carol (also a former commodore of the Steele Creek Yacht Club) to Oriental ten years ago and has never looked back. In the winter of 2002 they took off in their Tartan 37 Blue Dancer headed South. Four months later, they returned, still speaking to each other and with a whole lot of stories to tell.
